  La photo panoramique, c'est une autre manière de voir.
Au-delà d'un effet étonnant, la photographie panoramique permet de visiter le monde d'une autre façon, en offrant la totalité de l'horizon sans qu'il soit besoin de tourner la tête. Le panoramique décrit avec précision tout ce qui entoure l'appareil et offre ainsi une sorte d'inventaire très riche en renseignements.
Alors acceptons de faire cette promenade d'un nouveau genre en prêtant une particulière attention sur tout cet environnement si riche de détails. Ensuite on oublie vite les perspectives curvilignes, celles qui interpellent les photographes plutôt familiarisés à priori avec les lois de l'optique géométrique.
Les images proposées sur ce site ont souvent été prises chez des commerçants mais aussi des particuliers. A travers tous les objets, meubles, agencement des lieux, on peut en quelque sorte lire le caractère et les préoccupations des occupants, leur façon de communiquer avec le public quand il s'agit de commerçants.

The images offered on this site have often been taken among shpkeepers but also individuals. Through all the objects, furniture, fixtures and fittings of places, you can somehow read the character and concerns of occupants, and ,for the shopkeepers, their way of communicating with people.

Depuis les débuts del aphotographie, les grands inventeurs du 19e siècle ont cherché à mettre cette merveilleuse technique au service de l'imprimerie.
Cette partie de mon site décrit comment les procédés photomécaniques ont progressivement permis d'intégrer la photographie dans les industries de l'estampe, des journaux et du livre.

   Since the beginning of photography, great inventors of the 19th century sought to bring this wonderful technology for the printing.
This part of my site describes how photomechanical processes have gradually helped to integrate photography in prints, newspapers and books industries.
